Thank you for your intrest in VisPro for Visual Basic from HockWare Inc.

General:

VisPro for Visual Basic consists of several major features that make it
easier to program with Microsoft's Visual Basic. These features have two
specific goals: to save you time and trouble, and to make the work you do
less error- prone. VisPro for Visual Basic will greatly reduce tiresome
  searching through manuals and code.

With VisPro for Visual Basic, the information in your forms is neatly
laid-out for you so you can see how the code is structured at a glance. We
take it one step further and let you program or make changes to code by
dragging and dropping. For example, to program a control, you drag it to
a Code window, and the VisPro Code Wizard automatically lists all the methods
and properties available for the control. Select the one you want, and the
  code is automatically generated.

VisPro for Visual Basic also provides tools for efficiently changing control
properties, positioning and sizing controls, changing the tab order of
controls using drag and drop, and visually exploring existing applications.
These and other VisPro for Visual Basic features are described in the
  following sections.

  VisPro Event Tree

The VisPro Event Tree displays your controls, and any events associated
with them, in a neat, tree-like structure. Control types appear in a list.
By simply clicking, you can expand this list to see the individual controls
for that type. Click on a control, and any events associated with that
control are displayed. If you select an event, the code associated with
it appears in the Visual Basic Code window to the right of the VisPro
  Event Tree.

The VisPro Event Tree makes it easy for you to see and change any of the
events or code associated with your form's controls in one place. The
VisPro Event Tree is also where you program your application using drag
  and drop programming.

  VisPro Code Wizard

The VisPro Code Wizard produces code automatically for you when you perform
drag and drop operations in the VisPro Tree View. When you drag a control
to an event in the Event Tree View, the VisPro Code Wizard appears, listing
all the methods and properties available for that control. Select the method
or property you want to use. If any parameters need to be specified, the
VisPro Code Wizard prompts you to do so. The code is produced automatically
  for you.

  VisPro List View

The VisPro List View displays all the property information for your controls
in a spreadsheet-like format. You can filter the information to make it
display only the controls or properties you want to see. You can change the
information for any property from this single location, and you can apply
that change to any other controls simply by copying and pasting. The VisPro
List View allows you to change the tabbing order of your controls by simply
dragging them to a different location within the list.

  VisPro Event Map

The VisPro Event Map presents a pictorial diagram of an existing form.
Relationship lines with hotspots are drawn between controls. Selecting
these lines or hotspots gives such information as the name and type of each
control, the events each control uses, the methods or properties of other
controls that a control event accesses. You can activate pop-up menus on a
hotspot that allow you to view the code for a specific event.

  VisPro Code Cache

The VisPro Code Cache gives you more programming options for creating basic
code constructs for such things as looping, conditional branching, message
boxes, input boxes, file I/O, and more. You can also create code to access
system objects such as the Screen, Clipboard, Printer, Error information,
  and the App (Application) object.

  VisPro Common Dialog Wizard

The VisPro Common Dialog Wizard steps you through the creation of code for
a Print dialog, a File dialog, a Save dialog, a Color dialog, a Font dialog,
  or a Help dialog.

  VisPro Alignment Palette

The VisPro Alignment Palette allows you to neatly position your controls on
the form. For example, you can select all your CommandButtons and specify
that they are to be aligned with the leftmost CommandButton. You can also
specify that the selected controls should have the same horizontal and/or
  vertical size.
